We have opened this blog particularly for those who would like to follow closely this new adventure which, we, the Consolata Missionaries, are beginning in Taiwan. Since the foundation of our Missionary family in 1901, one thing has always moved us, that is: the zeal to share the Gospel in places where it is hardly known. Therefore right from the beginning we moved from Europe to Africa, then to America and lastly to Asia. We really had no reasons to remain indifferent to the challenges paused by this Asian continent where the Christian population is still at its minimum. Having established our presence in Korea (from 1988) and in Mongolia (from 2003), we have now decisively resolved penetrate even more into Asia with new presences. This is precisely the rationale behind the new opening in Taiwan.  Piero Demaria, Mathews Odhiambo and Eugenio Boatella will therefore be the pioneer missionaries to this new mission.

Our wish is therefore to share with all of you, right from the beginning, all the steps and experiences we shall have in this new mission, through this blog. In order to serve the vast majority our readers from diverse linguistic backgrounds, we shall present all the articles in three languages, that is: Spanish, English and Italian. We kindly hope that you will spare some time to follow our experiences and in so doing, giving your valuable comments that will enrich the said mission.
