P. Kirimi, Jasper Njuki

My name is Kirimi, Jasper Njuki a Consolata missionary priest. I was born in Meru county-Kenya, on the thirtieth of April in the year of the Lord nineteen eighty three.
From a young age I admired the work done by the missionaries who were working and had worked in my place and thought it would be a good thing to be like them and continue the good work. In the month of August of the year two thousand and four I joined the Consolata missionaries to begin or rather to continue this long journey towards this dream.
After philosophical studies in Nairobi, I attended the year of novitiate at Sagana in Kirinyaga county-Kenya, at the end of which I made my temporal vows. Afterwards I was sent by my superiors to South Africa for theological studies, at the end of which I made my perpetual vows, was ordained a deacon in the month of December of the year two thousand and fourteen, and returned home for the service as a deacon and preparation for the priestly ordination which took place in the month of August of the year two thousand and fifteen.
After my priestly ordination I was sent to the region of Asia, to join the new group in Taiwan. I arrived here in the month of July of the year two thousand and sixteen. Currently I am deeply involved in learning the Chinese language which is used in this part of the world.
